Alright ive kept my mouth shut on this subject long enough so i got to say something. Ive never known the guy but ive been on several newspaper websites in the comment section defending him JUST because a bunch of older cop/military rednecks are talking some seriously disrespectful shit about him, writers and our entire craft. Now i'm not saying the homies should ever be done grieving, but now that enough time has gone by and its not so much of a sensitive subject maybe i can bring up something that is more important than any gossiping and should be what this writers forum is all about...

WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED. Ive heard from several direct sources who knew people who were there, and ive read the news paper articles. Now i KNOW when something is dirty the newspapers start to get blurry on details. If they will put a 17 year old girls name and face on the front cover of the news for stealing girl scout cookie money- then they would AT LEAST give the name of the accused person in the "altercation" at the strip club. But no arrests? No published names? I heard the dude was drunk when he got into his suv and killed ynot... and the police are still considering if its a accident or homicide? YO man i know the mafia usually runs strip clubs so i dont know if that had anything to do with it... Or if the guy was rich, or a cop or somebodies rich kid... But not even releasing his name in the paper brought up a red flag with me- let alone no arrests were made.

Regardless of which side of the line we're on i felt like this was something that effected all f us because he is a writer. I would think his mother and old lady are up in arms about this- but what are his homeboys doing to bring this dude to justice? Its cool and all you write Rest In Peace YNOT but how about No justice no peace??? Your homie was killed and the dude is walking free and all you write is RIP. If you really are his REAL homie and you were there would you have jumped in? If he lived and was in the hospital would you do something about it? The police and media stand by letting details slip under the carpet- Graffiti can be used as a strong social statement and mourning your friend is cool but why dont you tell the world you demand justice for your friend. How many other people you know that can take to the streets and make a statement every night?
