hey if anybody knows how to write a philly handstlye post this shit up, any tips, tricks, n stuff is apreciated! stay up
The important thing is balance. Philly hands must have balance and flow. Get a normal hand first, then make the letters taller, while still keeping them balanced.
yeah, basically take your hand, stretch it as far as you can without making it look like shit, and most of the time flare at the top and bottom.
Yeah basically take simple letters, stretch them high and low and then jazz the letter structure up...
kids need to stop trying to do philly styles outside of philly. if you're not from philly you can't do them besides its not something you'll never figure out on your own its taught to young bucks by old heads so don't even bother. whatever wack shit that you produce and think is a philly style is not gonna come close. you wanna learn philly styles? how about you move to philly
Oatmeal said it best....I don't care how nice you think you got your philly style, if you're not from philly or weren't taught by a real philly head you're just gonna be pissing in the wind.
thats ridiculous its a GOOD thing when a style from one place catches on everywhere and and anypne can learn philly styles it dont matter where u are from...philly styles are all about being even and precise
nah dude. im born and bread philly. and im pretty sure that unless you were schooled in philly hands and history you're not doing philly styles. anything you do that you think is philly style is probably wack af. also you have no idea what you are talking about. I've been schooled by some of the best in this city and you dont know the first thing about these handstyles. its about flow and matching not being "even and percise" its about can control cap use speed and wrist moment. and saying "philly handstlye" is way too general. there's wickets of all different fourms whips tall prints free style free forum. top to bottoms. fades. flat tops. triangles. hearts. it goes on and on. so please stop. unless you're from philly and are taught by an old head its something you'll never understand.
and by no means is it a "hand stretched" thats the dumbest S*** ive heard. we have a location based handstyle unlike most cities SF being one of the only others. and we aim to keep it that way. you wanna learn. move here.
