Hey! I have searched for paint thinning and cannot find anything very detailed so here is my problem: I am planning on making a nice drippy glue stick mop, I have the glue stick and the board rubber and also the paint and some thinner: [Broken External Image]:http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/1213/picture0015pg.jpg Now, I want to thin the gold paint in the picture above so it is thin enough for the mop. I have no idea on how to do this so I need some help. I dont plan to thin the whole tub so I will get a small amount in a container. Thanks
pour the paint into a smaller conainer pour some thinner into container stir keep adding thinner until you have consistency needed
ive never really been good at making ink recipes but recently ive discover i know how to make good wheat paste recipes, pm me if u want some more info on that
oh sorry i missed that bit and you can thin your latex based paint with paint thinner, dont worry about whether it's oil based or not.
actually you can't and I know it's not really krink if it's not metallic, but the recipe works just fine with any oilbased paint. You get the same end result really... just spend 10 bucks or so on a small bucket of real oilbased you'll thank yourself
