hot stuff indeed mr. dob.
lust the rust.
it's gonna get buffed buffed buffed..shoulda left the numbers there hombre...nice work but sholda followed the rules....now it's not going to run like that for very long.
the way the R is placed there, if he left the numbers oncovered it would mess up the letter quite a bit. oh well, that car will run until buff.
lust the rust.
wats that wholecar say. i kinda looks like it says kane but i aint so sure.
At my funeral, I would like a huge sassy black lady to point at a portrait of me and exclaim "Fuck THIS guy!"

it's true. Oh well, i guess it's good for the flick and you could always rewrite the numbers yourself smaller so you don't catch the buff...whatevs...don't matter much to me..not my train, mine are always off the numbers.Originally posted by afterten@Sep 15 2004, 03:27 PM

yer the man cool guy. it doesn't take much to fill a hopper with cans anyways..like you said, it's not a box car, hoppers are tiny compared to a box. fuck the rules tho..well...you must be above em, even in a society where you're not following rules, you still have to follow certain guidlines if you want to keep things together. think about it.Originally posted by fatchicks@Sep 15 2004, 05:57 PM
THE RULES? FUCK YOUR RULES!!! YOU MUST BE FOLLOWING
"the fresh prince of bel air's rules to fr8 graffiti" HANDBOOK
FOR TOYS A LITTLE TO CLOSELY.
ITS A HOPPER. ITS GETTING BUFFED QUICKER THAN A
BOXCAR ANYWAY.
YEAH, IN GENERAL STAY OFF THE LD LMT, LT WT, ROAD NAME
BLACK BOX ETC, BUT FUCK YOUR NITPICKING.
TONS OF TIMES WHEN PEOPLE BITCH ABOUT "THAT GUY
WENT OVER THE INFO" THE INFO WAS FADED TO NOTHING
ANYWAY, OR HAD A TOYS TAG OVER IT.
YOU GOT RANDOM WORKER DISSES, CLASSICS THAT
SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN BUFFED/DIDNT GO OVER INFO,
"GET A JOB" , SO FUCK, YOU DO A WHOLECAR, YOU OWN
IT. DO WHAT YOU WANT.. TELL ME A WHOLECAR DOESNT
LOOK SO SICK WHEN EVERY BIT OF SPACE IS TAKEN UP
AND THERE ARNT A MILLION TAGS AROUND IT...PRO-
FESSIONAL.
NOT BACKING UP HOMIES WHOLECAR, I GUESS ITS NOT BAD
FOR SOMEONE I NEVER HEARD OF....ITS COOL HE FILLED IT
WITH CANS.
rules suck!
nice whole car rane
kill em all
its probably not gonna get buffed...there just gonna print new numbers over his graff....thats what they usualy do.....they're all lazy slobs down at the cn
Tell that to all the buffed opieces that I've been seeing as of late. Nice brown blocks.
fatchicks, it's best to ride someone so that they learn quick. Fact is, if you leave the numbers be, it'll most probably run for longer but if they can't ID the car, they have to pull it and remedy the situation.
We surmised on the old boards that writing in the ID number by hand won't cut it.
Since we're on the subject, here's a story...
I was checking out this line getting ready to leave, flicking it like crazy and I stopped infront of a Play piece, brand new, and partially over the numbers. Then a worker going from car to car checking out his list and the cars' reporting mark came by the play piece and couldn't get the info he wanted. But he didn't seamed to mind at all and continued to the end of the car, looked on the top side where there's the same reporting mark stamped and went on with his job.
Maybe they don't care that much afterall, but I'm still keeping my pieces off the numbers tho.

do you think there is a small chance that i don't post my trains on the netOriginally posted by fatchicks@Sep 16 2004, 04:51 AM
to "Mindo" who was saying hoppers are a cakewalk to fill the entire thing. ...yeah comparitively to a boxcar.but whens the last time you stood by an extended length hopper? they can take 10 cans just to do a background, even if your letters are fucking huge. going up and down a ladder 300 times in one night could be more luxuriously spent watching tv, and you know this..or id be seeing your wholecars.
l
and the fact that when i do paint hopper wholecars i don't use some spot in the middle of fuckin nowhere where i would be needing a ladder. Good call. Don't try and call me out on something if you don't know what you're talking about and don't bother asking me to prove shit to you. I have no need to prove anything to you or any of the children on this board. I do what i do and thats the way it is.
I didn't quote your rantings.... well, now I did.Originally posted by fatchicks@Sep 16 2004, 04:51 AM
DONT "QUOTE" MY RANTINGS i need to delete it after a bit...
i realize you obviously take me for a newjack. your wrong, but
im not compelled to elaborate.
How do you realize I took you for a newjack? There was no hint, what-so-ever, of my assuming how much experience you have or don't have with freights or painting in general.
As for the numbers being on the top right hand corners of the ends of cars, this is true. But if you go to a big yard, you may see a worker, driving down the line, checking the numbers, they need to look at a car and ID it right away. In the old days, they would perform this action sometimes, when the train was rolling by a tower. Hence, visible and un-interfered with numbers, on the side of the car, are the easiest for the RRs.
dont type in the quote box lol...
