The deal with this image is that it's a logo from the company which last owned it. The current owner is EEC(east erie commercial). This company is starting from a small fleet, and continues to expand through buying small, older companies which are OUT-OF-BUSINESS. these old companies are called 'fallen flags'. I find them superinteresting and thanks to EEC, many boxcars and hoppers are being revived from the old grown over sidings and braught into service on the mainlines.
so when you see anything like that, document it because after a while, they'll all be painted over by the new owners.

yeayea, caught my first yesterday. all brown, texas mexico on the left with the state of texas painted on the right. nice looking car, hard to grab flicks at 100 km/hour though
stolen; i was just impressed by the size of this diesel. its a dd35.
