Alright so i've have these two can of like really old silver rusto that have been sittin for a while and decided to go bomb wit them one day. So i finished my throw with the silver rusto and im about to put the black outline on it. When i started painting the silver sort of bubble up through the black kinda like acid. It took like 3 layers before it finally stopped showing through.
Im not really sure if it was just becuz this stuff was old or wht but it was incredibly hard not to mention a pain to paint over it.
Does anyone knoe if other silver or metallic paints are like this, and i've only used rusto to bomb, cuz it the easiest to rack around my area.
If anyone has any info let me kno

Silver is a hard color to cover. it eats away at blacks an shit. you just gotta go over it, or get some thicker outliner paint

montana makes a special kind of paint made just for crome called nitro... you have to let the crome dry before u can put any other color on it unless its nitro which only comes in black

This happens to me with any light base color, just let it dry before you do anything.
    Should work fine.

Now if you are OTR, then you`re shit out of luck.

flat black painters touch is pretty bomb.

they make that tar paint in white and supposedly silver now too?
rusto and rusto painters touch flat blacks are the only way to go if you want easy to find paint to cover metallics. if you used gloss black or semigloss itll definitely look shitty. and letting the chrome dry off a bit is gonna help a great deal too, as was already said.
