Yo, don't know if this topic should be in here. So move if not. Basically I find it hard coming up with decent colour schemes and fills. I tried a few different techniques but don't like any of them. Also I'm happy with my current lettering style but if someone could maybe help me out abit. Maybe with add ons and making it abit more wild. Heres a few pictures of more recent sketches. The top two sketches the fill concepts aren't that bad for that kind of style Looks like your struggling because your bars are quite thin, thicker your bars the more you can experiment with your fill. I don't want to be a harsh critic or tell you what style to paint but I'd recommend taking a bit of a step back from the over complex stuff, your kind of running before your walking, don't worry most people do tbh. Focus on doing some more simple straight letters with great letter form and some basic connections, or if your from London some dub style. Check out crews like DDS, TPG, GSD, YRP, ATG, DWS for a bit of your city's more recent graff history and styles. For fill ideas look at more and more graffiti and see what the guys at the top do, don't bite directly, but learn what colors go together what fill techniques work and what don't. You've got good artistic ability so you'll progress quicker than most.
