thats like the main reason i hate laker fans. if you talk about basketball they HAVE to bring up kobe. no matter what. my favorite teams are Dallas and Atlanta. and im starting to take a liking to Golden State. everytime i tell people that they tell me how much they suck and blah blah and i just laugh. most people like teams for the wrong reasons. like my boy's favorite teams are Clevland (but hes from Ohio) and Boston. most teams have a big fan base because of success but i like those 3 teams because of the style of play. it doesnt matter if they dont win 'ships i just enjoy those teams. i mean i choose sides in playoffs but my favorite teams still remain.

oh yeah. im a LeBron fan because hes one of the most exciting players to watch but i could care less about the Cavs.

Let me clarify a bit. most teams get INSTANT fans aka first time basketball watchers by alot of success which turns into swearing by those teams and not exploring the rest of the league to see what it has to offer. granted the teams successful but do some research before dick sucking. like this year the suns really helped there fan base as did oklahoma city.
