Carlyle was actually puttin in mad work behind the bench to see how the team works, he knows he has to make moves quickly. His dry erase marker was working overtime on that board. He payed attention well and didn't play favorites like Wilson tended to do. The Grabovski line got played often because they played well, the Schenn line played often too because they had good momentum. The Kessel line didn't play much. It's nice to see the other lines get play because they are good too, they ain't superstars but they have enough potential. Only 3 point difference between the Leafs in 12th and Winnipeg in 8th.
Regarding the Sharks, that tends to be the deal with many teams. If you can grab an early momentum the other team spends as much time catching up up to the momentum as they need to surpass it.
