Oh sweet Jesus. I just got back from my interview at the swanky spa and it was even classier than I imagined. Apparently It's been ranked the 2nd best resort/spa in the world. The chef that I interviewed with was throwing french cooking terms at me like I understood but I managed to bullshit my way through and get a working interview. The food that comes out of that kitchen is the best looking food I've ever seen.

Edit- They also have a food blog. Who the hell thinks to use squid ink in a dish? Also, all of their fish is overnighted from Hawaii. I'm in way over my head here. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if I found out that the cheapest item on the menu was still $50+.

Ive visited for a couple days here and there. When I lived back home I was literally dying to get the fuck out of there...but now that I'm here I realize that place is in my blood man. I just crave so many places, and pieces..and people there. Plus, the art community there has gotten pretty baller...so I'm gonna try and dabble..get my hands dirty a bit. I'm depressed in the middle of this city with no car. Stuck in this apartment under constant watch of my significant other. No LIFE in me left.
