"Baltimore Graffiti" Is a 208pg. photo documentary of Baltimore's graffiti scene from 2011-2014. Including 4000+images and 145 artists. The Making of the Book "Baltimore Graffiti" is a photo documentary of Baltimore's graffiti scene from 2011-2014. Over the past 4 years I've taken over 45,000 images and cataloged more than 400 graffiti artists. I wanted to give the most honest view into a graffiti community I could, so I took pictures of everything. Unlike other projects on graffiti that focus on the best of the best or a select few; I've created an open window into a period of time in Baltimore's graffiti world. Follow me through my journey and see what really goes on in Baltimore city right under your feet. The final edit of the book is a beautiful 12" x 12" format consisting of 208 full color pages, 4000+ images, and more than 140 artist pages. Also I've added a section that illustrates what makes Baltimore graffiti hand styles unique within the growing world of graffiti. This project began as a way for me to expand on my studio practice as an artist and recent graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). I felt nobody had ever given Baltimore the attention it deserves in the graffiti world and I wanted to capture what makes Baltimore graffiti unique.
