ok, so you pretty much post your progression so we can laugh at your wack wildstyles and see how far you have made it. feel free to post up your painted progression aswell.

most start with a wack wildstyle but i have never actually tried a wildstyle.

so here goes,

well let the games begin

^only one with good anatomy. rest have horrible proportions and even worse anatomy.










started doing a simpler more cartoonish style. better in proportions.




now i started trying some shading..overdid these horribly.




more complicated characters but still somewhat cartoonish...still not great anatomy but better propotrions.


now trying to get a hang of clothing and failing miserably. cartoonish and good anatomy.


ok now we're getting back into the swing of things.


unfinished but still good i guess.

ok now we got the clothing down...shading is looking good and i actaully learned to highlight instead of keeping everything dark. characters are anatomically correct and proportioned properly.






words of advice...study up on some artwork (proportions, shading, highlighting, ANATOMY, and even hand control) before you try making these amazing characters. also the only way to get better is practice.
