I KNOW I KNOW everybody is gonna be whinning about this new thread, but i would close it as soon as somebody gets a link to a store selling these two colors of paper books because this sounds mad cool and i want one...

i went to 3 different art stores asking for the brown paged sketch books.. no one knew what i was talkin about

try borders book store, thats where i get my blackbooks, they're decently cheap, and nicely made
i can't find them on their site, but i'm sure most stores have them

and to this thread: why would you buy one online when you could find one at a store?
hobby lobby, michaels, and basically all indy type art stores as well should sell white paged ones.
black paged books might be harder to find cause i think those are for the gel pens i had back in 7th grade, but im sure they still got them somewheres.

if you use markers then consider a copic sketch pad because they work with all types of markers and are bleedproof. also there are lots of other bleedprook marker pads out there.

... for your brown paged books, i'm assuming umean the one you use in art school for the medium tones and then you just ust charcol for the black and gouche for the white?..... any way back on track you can get them at an art supply store, not micheals, hobby lobby... but one that carries "rare" are more fine art stuff....... if you're in TX then TX ar t supply would have em'.... but since your in CA i dont know
