What's up guys... I've been doing graffiti since I was a kid... But never really considered ever modding and making my own ink, paints and whatnot. After joining last night I dug in pretty deep within these forum threads... Some of the dyi builds are f***n amazing! So I jumped on the bandwagon and begin building my first drippy pen. Building was easy and making the ink was pretty easy too.... However I was wondering if there's any specific material that's used best for "super drips" or "runs". I've outfitted mine with the middle of a sharpie bent into a V... But it's not as runny as I'd hoped for... Should I thin out my ink? Or scrap out the tip and make a better head.
when you make a mop you typically use a fabric, sucha rope or shoe lace, felt or sponge, that sorta absorbent stuff, so you juice the nib and it fills with ink and with any amount of pressure since the nib is full of ink itll transfer on to the surface and if its smooth itll drip down if its not itll still drip but not as much
man the states is better, you get usps over there! theyre sick stickers, and actually scrap what i say ive seen a bunch of people writing on electrical boxes with them so that makes me look like an idiot
Yeah I guess in that sense it IS better... But I've been stuck in the same shit state all my life (Illinois.) place is a dump.. Electrical boxes are still hotspots here for the tagging lol
i mainly tag boxes and doors, and i used it on a metal sheet earlier and its pretty good actually, might get another one and put alcohol ink in it
Yeah my ink's a alcohol based homebrew. Seems to work great... I'm actually shocked it came out on the first attempt lol. ... Though I'd kill for some neon green or highlighter yellow ink.
No shit? Wasn't sure if we could pull out that ink or not... I've been trolling around (sorry...) the forum checking out different methods. I've noticed people have a hard time pulling the ink from sharpies. So just assumed... But yeah... I thiiiiink I can spare a buck or two without it crushing the bank lol
