2 days ago i made my first batch of ink, 40 blue ballpoint pens per half a cup of 99% rubbing alcohol. I don't know why but most of the ink does not suck out of the pens. the ink is not opaque. What do I do??

you dont have enough pens, i would use 200+ to a half cup if not more, and i prefer pvc primer over alcohol, im assuming youve removed both ends to the ink cartridge so the air can flow, and the bottom of the pen cartridge should be in the alc after you pour it over, stick another pen throught the middle of them when their rubber banded together so it can float above the bottom of the jar. it will take several days to get it all out. and it helps to pour the alcohol over the bundle of pens.
