2 cents from a toy and none of you will probably care and just flame me for sticking my nose in this but whatev:
Of course someone new to graff is going to bite like crazy... they are new, don't know what they are doing, don't understand what makes a good piece or how to construct letters/3d/shadows/shading/fills/highlights/caraks/etc.
I think theres nothing wrong with a toy biting in their infancy because its the easiest way to learn the ropes.
The only problem with biting is the effect on the ego. If they start thinking they are all big and shit and start running their mouth before they actually advanced, then yeah, they are a shit little toy that doesn't know what they are doing.
But if the kid actually keeps drawing and writing and slowly weens himself off of using other peoples work to learn, and advances on his own, then its fine because he has finally become an independant writer that understands graff enough to work on his own style, letter structure, etc.
Sorry if I didn't get my point out good enough, I hope it makes sence.
