I'm looking through the sales section, (jewww) I see some Nike Air Revolutions, the pink and white color combo, for 60$. Perfect, 11.5's. I go to buy them then the girl at the cash is like yeah no problem. She goes to get the box in the back and she's like "I can't find the right shoe." I was like can you please go check in back one more time and then she's like blah blah blah this rarely happens I'm no going back blah blah. So i couldn't get em.

Vans feel so flimsy. I got one pair once (I'm not a shoe fan) and they weren't very padded.
Currently I'm on some skate shoes but that's for the winter. When the weather clears up I'm going to build my own Nikes on the website.

couldnt agree more baias, vans and air max 90s. livin the life.
yeah most of them are flimsy feeling. but if you can get some eras that are more padded around the ankle and shit, they're pretty comfortable. im used to them. however..trying to run through a freight yard with vans and trying to run through a freight yard with nikes or something more solid is WAY different. thats for damn sure.
if you ride fixies however, fixed gear bikes, vans are prime time. they actually have a model out recently designed for fixed gear riders with some extra toe protection and some solid design

Haha, it used to kill me having to walk the tracks in Vans because you can feel fucking EVERYTHING. It's just a simple vulcanized sole, so what do you really expect, right? But, after exclusively being on the Vans tip for 2 1/2 years, my feet have just learned to get used to it and suck it up.
However, going from Eras to the Air Max's makes it feel like I'm walking on clouds!
I find the first month or so of having Air Maxes are too sick, but I find they get played out sooo fast.
