maybe the nib you have is weird and u need a new one. is there any cracks on the casing of the pen around the nib or anything?

toyburky that sounds very strange, sounds like the nib is too small or somthing like that...just get another marker i guess :/ or try to find a way to make some repairs on the one u have now.
Sensetwo its all about preference...i personaly like ink in pens more cuz it flows better i think and has nicer drips...u can also write alot faster with ink and not get streaks like u do with paint. paint pens/mops do usualy have nicer colors though and is thicker which some pple like
