Ironlak streakers, I had a set. The poor design of the casing makes them hard to put the lid on properly hence they dry out super easy. They're cheap and you get what you pay for, they're ok for blending but really if you want to do good colours prismas and copics are the way to go. Copics are refillable as well. I guess if it's your first set of graphic markers its probably a good idea to get something cheap so you don't waste expensive ink learning how to use them properly.
Also if you're going to use alcohol based markers be mindful of the type of paper you're using because standard sketch books are designed for pencil and it can get nasty, printer paper is probably second best to marker paper which is far too expensive to bother with.
If you wanna get down on these hairy balls why don't you jump right in, it's a crotch party right up in here.

Ya I usually just use a random markers, but I'm using them more to to do characters and backrounds, so the blending is a MUST. I pretty much know how to use graphic markers but I keep getting stuck with shitty ones. Also most of the time when I use markers to do a full fledged piece with a bunch of characters on it, I use a smooth BRISTOL paper it's a little expensive but it works great with any marker I find. When I'm just messing around I agree printing paper is also good, I guess the smoother the paper the better for markers. But yep I heard Copics are the way to go, I'm just running a little low on cash.

Shit i use prismas for my blending, I also have a few molotow basic sketchers, Those mother fuckers dry out quick AF but have a nice consistent ink flow, i like racking Painters from walmart for my highlights and shit also decocolors are kind of expensive but they last a fucking long ass time with an amazing flow to them, The best thing to do is just pocket every marker you can find regardless of the quality it is because low quality markers can still be good for blending
