Anyone paints however they want, if it's a simple piece, chances are someone who's "good" at graffiti, won't use bars and will draw the outline of the letter straight up.

So, I want to change my name. I feel like the letters I have chosen are really hard for me to work with...and I don't particularly like the way I write ANY of them. I love the word, but I am ready to let it go for something I can develop better.
However, I've gotten up pretty hard in my hometown. I have some level of respect around here (even if I remain anonymous, I've heard the chatter.)
I don't want to change my name, and lose all I've worked at for so long.
How can I incorporate my new name into my old work, and maybe make a smooth transaction. Should I put some "AKA"s in my shit for a while?
Also - what to do with the old slaps?

Haha seriously. Not talking about anyone specific, I know the kid above was asking how to get people to associate his names with each other, kinda makes sense, but what do these other kids think is going to happen to them if they break these fake "rules"? Is it like the stride gum commericals?

As you are all WELL aware, the graffiti world is a lot like walking on Hallowed Ground.
You don't want to piss off the wrong people, or you get fucked for quite a while. You really need to walk on eggshells around you people, because there are so many assholes out there claiming different things, its easy to misinterpret.
I have learned this - and I like to double check before I make a move that could fuck me all up.

I usually just try a different style, and see where it goes.
actualy to get over writers block get happy whenever i draw when im pissed i always get writers block and it always looks terrible just fap a lil and draw lol nah just be happy
My flow is about 10x better when I'm tipsy.
I guess I just loosen up, and it ends up working to my advantage.
Down a 40 and try writing. See if its for you...I imagine it would fuck some people up, but it only helps me

I tried and i emphasize on the try, drawing shit on shrooms, it ended up being my name, some unreadable scribbles and the outline of a J.

So I just started writing a couple days ago.
So far i'm practicing making 3d block letters and reading about the graffiti culture/history 3-4 hours a day.
Couple questions.
What do you think a better name is? Refri or Efri? I'm kinda leaning towards Efri (pronounced uh-fry). Are there any legends or others with those names?
Once I got block letters perfect, should I just start to make adjustments into my tag one at a time as I see fit? Or maybe incorporate other peoples styles into my tag?
