Its actualy the simplest letter....2bars...Thats it.....You pretty much can make your piece flow any way if you do it right....I like to use V in the center of a word....Makes for better styles IMO

the simplicity is what kills it.
There's not much you can do with it.
and of course a v looks good in the center, it's because its symmetrical
btw, V isn't the simplest.
