Don't get me wrong....Montreal is King when it comes to graffiti.....but Amsterdam is KILLED!!!!!!.....i just got back today and that city is nuts! Beligium has sum hot highway shit....and London is only killed on the tracks. But the train ride from Shipol Airport to the city of Amsterdam is like a non-stop TA wall on the tracks. Even the Stations. which are semi outdoor, have huge burners on their walls. Just KILLED! and i even saw sum familiar cats to..saw an OAPH throw during a canal tour, and in the heart of the Red light district there is a huge OWL throw...i think it's owl...i know its one of those kids from Boston. Well it is NOT legal everywhere becasue if it were there would be fucking dope pieces everywhere. I barely saw a few throws. Handstyles cover teh streets. Plus, most of the graff is done by tourists, i asked around and there are only a few serious dutch writers from there.
The city itself is not messed up at all. Sure there are drug problems, but Amsterdam has found ways to isolate it. Would you rather have heroin all over the streets, or a place like Needle Park where clean needles are given out. And you shouldn't be anywere near Amsterdam if your trying to get over drugs. If you wanna spend your days in the coffee shops then no shit ur gonna be fucked up at 13. But don't tell me it ain't a cool place to live if you've never been there. Amsterdam was ILL.....such nice architecture and the concept of the city based around the canals is amazing. There is more to the world than Montreal...check it out.
