well if you use wheat paste use i on a wooden board.....wheat paste on real canvas is actually a waste of good material * canvas
because i rarely used actual art store canvas now...for me its candy..

wheat paste = rots after a while and it sticks

ps: what do you want to glue on your canvas?

I you want to do some sort of postering with paper get yourself some Podge ( availeble at everywhere, hobby shops, art stores and wall-mart ) or if you want to have better quality ( which means your gonna paid 5&#036; more ) get yourself some Acrylic Gel Medium ( its way thinner )
too glue shit around in a poster like effect use PODGE because its thicker and cheaper

how to use:
1-put a thick coat of podge on the surface where you want to apply your paper,
2-stick your paper on it like a sticker to prevent buckling and bubles ( your gonna get some anyways&#33; just less&#33;&#33;&#33; ) Use your hands to even it out,
Be carefull because if you use cheap paper the paper can rip, even it out very CAREFULLY
3-Dilute a part of podge with a part of water 3/4 - 1/4 and with your brush aply thin layers of podge on the paper

If your using water based inks on your paper ( most computer inks and some markers from art stores ), this might smudge the ink all over the place..so you can wait till the podge under it dries and aplyy CAREFULLY thick podge in thin layers on top.

the last step give a nice effects and protect your paper from riping and falling...also gives shine .... oh yeah get the gloss podge, the matt podge looks like SHIT

i sometimes wonder. do ppl use the terms wheatpaste and wallpaper paste interchangeably?

dont use wheat paste. cyens said it and its true. cuz its made from organic shit it will rot.
wallpaper paste wont.

props man, i just use the dry rubber cement method, all city gave it to me


just apply a thick layer of rubber cement on canvas where you want picture to be applied, put a thick layer on your picture, let the surfaces dry, then stick together, i like rubber cement becuase you can rub it right off in extra areas..........and it smells good
