yeah I had that virus. it was a bitch. internet explorer is part of windows Xp, so if you get rid of it you cant really get it back. I had to remove all my internet explorer stuff, and then get a buddy to send me IE6.0 through MSN. somehow it worked.

On the spyware tip, if you thought I was joking when I said I had tons of spyware, I wasn't. I left my compter with 2 internet explorer windows open, I went to the washroom, grabbed a coke, and came back down only to see that I now had 24 windows open...

this is a program that detects spyware on your system and gives you instructions on how to get rid of them...your best bet is to get this program and also get a version of ad aware 6

i coupled these 2 programs and together they removed about 576 pieces of spyware and ad's programs.

my next step was nortaon antivirus 2004. that just helped to keep shit in order.

Mind; I tried that Bazoka software last night and didn't like it. It detected all the spyware, but it didn't get rid of anything, and with the ammount of spyware on my machine, there's no way I want to manually get rid of it all, ya know. I downloaded spybot search&destroy, and that got rid of 90% of it. Thanks for that adAware link though, I'm setting it up as we speak.

And AA, yes, I'm no electrician, and when it comes to wiring HPS lights myself, I'd like to make sure I do it right, so I don't burn my place down.
