alright, so for fat caps i got it down with the rusto, rusto fats will do me fine. I like the new york thins for rusto, but want something maybe a bit thinner for some work. Suggestions? I suppose if I want big ol flares ill get some montana and an astro fat and jsut go that route.

oh an blunt dude, ny thins r pretty fuckin thin, as thin as u can get w/ rusto as far as i know.

yeah rusto's other lines like american accents and painter's touch (old valves, obviously) work with caps that don't work on the rusto line, thats part of why they're better.

new elmer's caps are boston (rusto?) thins, trout art supply .com sells them in larger quantities if you get tired of getting them off cans

another reason why the rusto line isn't as good as aa or pt is the way they stutter when you use a thin on them, they don't actually start when you press down on the cap. Boston thins are great because they don't stutter as much as other thin caps do on rusto. I think it's because they're faster so they let out the stutter pressure more quickly.

In my experience grey dots don't work on rusto, but do usually work on aa and pt

uhh the new elmers caps are just new elmers caps, theres no special name for them.. on a side note they make much thicker solid lines than the old rustos and make great flares
