yea pinks flood on it, and ny thins clog mad fast, ny fats apparently dotn work? and greys clogs sometimes too. but for rusto all you really need are rusto fats

ny fats work on painter touch, not sure about AA, it drips quite a bit too so wear gloves

if it drips that means nyfats DON'T work on painter's touch... unless you're talkin bout the paint dripping on the wall.

found the "montana calligraphy" caps (black housing with a yellow "dot". the type you can turn) on some 3m picture something adhesive. i think it was this one

but it comes with this exact cap (picture from my phone)

it doesn't produce a clean line by any means but it'd work okay for fills

you can also find a really good all-around cap from these

it has a german outline 2 type shell and works great for filling and outlines. pretty smooth, hard lines on rustoleum and krylon.

but anyways, both can be found at walmart. the 3m spray is in the crafts (right next to the elmer's glue spray adhesive which happens to have rusto fats) and the invisible glass is in the auto section.

a friend of mine runs a site with those Stoner Invisible Glass caps. They are not the same as the German Outline 2, they are more like the old Rustoleum Stock caps, but I will agree they do look similar to the German 2's.

oh, i know they aren't actual G.O.2's. i was just saying they share the same shell. works great and i still use it almost every time i go out.

i'm really glad you posted that link, though. i MIGHT have to buy a few.

Are there any caps that can spray extra long distances? I have a unfinished piece and I can't reach some spots, I tried astro fat, but still couldn't reach all the spots.

you can use a broken stock cap. al you do it liek somehow pop out the dot, and then its basically just a tube and it shooooootttts paint, but its mad messy

heres my 2 cents...i can only use rusto fats, ny thins, and ny fats on rusto confidently without pouring half of the paint on the ground

depending on where you get your tips, ocasionaly youll get a german tip that works on rusto

heres the break down

rustoleum: rusto fats, ny thins, ny fats

krylon: german fats, german thins, pink dots, etc.

mtn: leveled tips, colored dots, german tips

you can all take a german tip and a ny tip and flip them upside down and look at the caps penis, on a german tip, the gap is wider, on american tips the gap isnt as wide

bam!

thats why you get certain tips that flood on your rusto!

astro fats wont necisarily work on rusto either, ive had several sets that did, and several sets that didnt

if you dont like how your tips are working on your rusto, buy mtn

Bountyhunter - I saw that one before posting, but I can't get my hands on those caps anywhere (I don't live in the USA, so I can't buy exactly the same things that are shown here, i'm sure that there are those caps on something, but I just can't find them) But thanks.

H3TT1NG3R - thanks for the tip, will try it out, hopefuly it won't fuck that up very much
