no its not etch... safe to use. goes on and dries like a thick transparent colored film... and it peels off and can be stuck to other glass

its a different brand of glass etch
that is actually corrisive
i tested it out a while back and
it actually did engrave and frost the glass
it was like 3 bucks at walmart
and i have never used etch b4 so i thought
i might as well give it a try
i think im going to get more pictures

thats crazy... i remember seeing that stuff at walmart all the time, but we used a product that looks exactly the same in art class for window art, so i assumed it was the safe childrens stuff that peels off...
haha, well i guess i'll have to keep an eye out for that stuff tomorrow when im out and about at the stores.

as you can guess, the city i'm currently in is pretty small... but i spent a lot of time in larger cities but i'm not too familiar with what stores have what in those cities...
anyway, is there more markers that use the same system? are any on my list wrong (seeing how i dont have that much experience with most of them)?
i also saw a fabric marker at walmart in a clearance bin that looks like it might be the on the same system but with a shorter barrel tube.. so i'll check that out.
oblong, do you find that the nibs that come in those garden craft markers work better than the rectangular ones that come in montanas and the like? i havent used the garden craft markers but uniposcas have the same nib (with that part at the bottom cut out like that), and to me it seems to work better... more ink seems to get through.
the nibs are interchangable
u can use either nib on either marker
