Hahahaha, Norton and McAfee both suck major fucking ass. Norton spots fake viruses, hogs memory like a bitch, and doesn't get rid of viruses. McAfee is the same way, and they push all their money into advertising.
Phat's right: Nod32 is the best security software; I've tried practically every antivirus and it's the best, by far.
Although, Ace is right as well: MBAM is a great program that'll get rid of basically all the bad shit. Boot into safe mode, run that shit, come back in a half hour, shit is clean as fuck.
Anyway, if it's not a virus and you think it's a hardware problem, that's why you have a warranty at Best Buy. Just never buy from there again.
My warranty is up, and I shopped around when I bought this computer, Best buy actually had the best deal at the time... I bought it when i graduated highschool
