Anyway, I like the random affilliation of graff and hip hop. Is it founded in anything credible? Maybe not, but it makes a great mental soundtrack when you're in a yard.

...the Stones, not so much. but I like them when I'm focused on something entirely seperate from graff.

Do you ever critique in the toy blackbooks thread? I used to alot, but it got old. They appreciate the help tho. downside-Only 3% take advice to heart.

ummmm, i think i may have once or twice, but i dont black book that much myself....

mostly because of one person, when i was in college i met a kid from holland, or somwhere in europe....anyway his name was Jon. One day i just finished pissing and after washing my hands, gave the bathroom a little taste of my streak, well 'ol Jon had been standin there, saw me do it, and asked the usual questions.... well i ended up looking at his black book and was blown away, 3d, wildstyle, anything, and everything, all done with the dopest letters ive seen, i asked Jon, if wanted to go writing, so a time was set and we went. Boy how Jon sucked, it was painful to watch him try straight lines, fading, or anything else attempted to do with a can, and since then i just dont pick up that book as much...

So i'm wonderin. i know these are really toy questions but i got some INSANE spots for rollers on the water tower right next to my house and the abandon grain tower. so how much bucket paint does a guy need to make a nice sized one colour roller?

Word. The dude I've been painting with lately told me to stop using pencils. He said to just use pens because you can't erase and it'll prepare you better for walls. When we started painting he was just firing away and I pulled out my outline and stood there staring at it and the wall dimensions and he was grinning like "damn, you look like a fool".. haha. He can bust some ill shit with a pen too, but since I've been trying it, I'm sucking dirty ass. I need to spend more time painting and trying fills. My control's pretty raw and my color choices frequently feel flat. I'm going to paint tommorow with him and his partner. Hopefully I wont make a tool of myself.

No doubt. I'm in the middle of bumfuck Egypt over here and there really wasn't any graff here before me so all the heads that are starting up now are looking to me and my homeboy for advice, but when it comes down to it, we're novice ourselves. Then this old school cat from Chitown (I'm not gonna drop his name, cuzz that's shitty, but he's ill) shows up thats touring around rocking murals and shit shows up out of nowhere and saw some of my shit and wanted to paint. I spend half the time picking his brain and learning what I can. He's a cool ass dude. Some little kids rolled up while we were painting and he gave them a full tutorial on graff and even let them do a little bit of the fill. That's fuckin dope... He's bringing another old school cat with him from Albuquerque tommorow. This is great for me, cuzz I prolly wont get another opportunity like this again where I'm at.

I haven't got flicks of the 2 walls yet, but I'll get some. He dropped some shit in my book in ballpoint, which doesn't come out with a digicam that has a flash. Him and his boy from Albuquerque flew in today and I had to go jumpstart their car in the long term airport parking. haha. I was looking through his blackbook and EVERYBODY was in that book. It was fuckin incredible.

shiit! that ***** mobs deep. Used to live in Albuquerque myself, but I was way to young to understand Graff, but now I live in Oregon and the Graff here is alright, but way to many fucking transvestites to be runnin around bombing solo lol.
