Hey, Idk if this question has been asnwered on here before, but I live in the midwest (america) and it gets to be about 20 degrees in the winter. I havent really pasted in the winter, so can someone tell me if theres any precautions I should take? Like will the cold fuck with the paste any?
hmm I don't like these weatpastes in here
i've never seen them around here so i didnt know it's unoriginal. i thought it was pretty funny.
i have some questions:
how long does paste last in the fridge?
does the paste make the color bleed in the poster?
how do i go about asking for extra paper at the newspaper placce, like do i just go in and ask anyone? and is there anywhere else i can get huge sheets of paper?
@ chub - cold weather will suck to paste in because your fingers will freeze. If you are out for long enough the water in your paste will also start to freeze. it will get thicker and more opaque but it will still work. Just stir or shake it up every so often in between uses, depending on how youa re carrying it.
@alt - paste is organic so it will eventually go bad, but you can keep it around for a week or two at the most. If it starts smelling like rotten ass, throw it out.
- depends on your medium. Color will bleed if you are using pens or paint pens to draw your posters. It will not bleed if your posters are spraypainted or brushpainted with acrylics.
- art store sells big pads of newsprint for cheap. also office supply stores sometimes have it. I dunno about the newspaper place, you could go and ask if they have any newsprint roll ends that they are not going to use..
...and now for a picture....just one old poster that's still kickin around
this has been up for round about 7 months now...still have a few of these at the studio might go put some up this weekend.

lasek- kinda looked like you got bored with the torso one and just half assed it. or your amarker ran out. i like the idea with the head as one of the letters, but i thinkk you might be able to do both a better head and body

So I'm using some paper a bit thinner than printing paper, will that shit work?
Fuck yes.
Thank you
It's cheap too, 1.5m for 15 cents.
Best poster paper i have ever used is newsprit... Its also free, go to your nespaper find out where they print the paper... Usualy a big factory, go there and ask them for the end rolls they will usually give them to you for free, they are about 4 feet tall and you probably get 50 or so yards!!!
