im a little sketchy on ebay. its like a last resort. i hate bidding on shit. and then if u do the buy it now, theres still the chance of shit getting fucked up.

everyone has been telling me to get the d40 cuz its cheap and good for what i want (bands, portraits, some model shoots)

Can someone help me. I have a Sony A200 with kit lens atm, at christmas i'm thinking about getting a sigma 17-70 lens and a pack of filters.
Can someone point me in the direction of a basic filter pack

Why do you want to get a 17-70 lens? Isn't that very close to the focal length of your kit? You'll probably want to look at fast primes or telephoto instead.

Good filters to get are going to be your basic polarizer and uv. If you shoot alot of black and white you may want to look into a yellow and red filter, to help up the contrast a bit. You might want to look into neutral density also

Ths ultimate in shooting from the hip. No rangefinder to distract you, just mount your 15mm, guess the focus, and fire.

The idea was to replace the kit lens.
I like shooting landscapes. But i really like taking pictures of people but i'm too scared of taking their photo coz they'll think i'm a wierdo or something lol

fuck um, if its in the city or whatever, youll probably never gunna see them again and theyll forget that someone random person just took their photo a few minutes later and youve got a photo to keep forever, but if you pussy out, then youve got nothing and youll regret it
