couple'a more... it does take pretty clean images for a point 'n shoot. I just don't have much flexibility for playin' around with shots... but for now, it works. *shrug* Savin' pennies for my D90.

starting with a d90? that's what i'm moving up to next, but idk i'f i'd recommend starting with it. I have a d60 now. When i graduate high school i'm selling it and buying a d90 so i can still use the lenses I have.you could get a d40 or a d3000 first. But hey, idk you, you might know what you're doing, you might have friends with dslr's/ But if you don't i'd start cheaper.

get the d40 over the d3000, the mega pixel loss cancels out with the d3000's shitty ISO

definitly. There is nothing like developing it, and getting amazing pictures. But on the otherhand, i've fucked up the development of quite a few rolls myself. Personally, I think it's worth the trade off.

I have some 4 month old solution I could use, or I could make some fresh d-76.

I don't feel like making any solution tonight.

edit: just looked and I don't have any suitable containers or a measuring cup since I moved.
