AF Tamron 28-105mm f/2.8 LD
Anyone know if that's a good lens? Reserve isn't met, but seems fair. Also anyone know if it's an EF canon mount?
Regardless of what I post I don't condone any illegal graffiti, although I stayed at a holiday inn once.
That lens cannot be constant f/2.8 and be that size. No way, that seller obviously either has no idea about what he's selling or he's lying. It is more likely f/2.8-4 or f/3.5-5.
Plus tamron are crummy quality and feel plasticy.
Don't go there.

Thanks for the heads up, Im trying to stick with sigma, nikon f-mount, or any cheap canon EF lens if i find any on ebay.

what's your budget man? it would be much easier to help
if you can find 200 bucks, go for the 35 mm 1.8, it'll work out to about 52 mm on DX, i love mine, rarely switch back to my 18-55 anymore

Rememeber when I was working for a prominent new zealand architecture photographer, well this is an amazing house I helped him shoot. Truly new zealand landscape too, although their were a lot more sheep which he photoshopped out of the final images.

Yes. Good lens. If you can teach yourself to work purely with a 50mm (35mm on a cropped sensor becomes roughly 50mm), then you can do anything. It took me ages, but it really opens your eyes about composition and moving around rather than sitting on your ass with a zoom snapping from a distance.

Is that a good deal? Seems a bit low for an E-series maco nikon.
