You'll be hyped at how solid it is. And just feeling the subtle quality of it.
If I were you I'd get the 35/1.2 over the 50/1.1 but thats up to you in the end.
For a 50 I'd wait until you can afford a 1st or 2nd model Summilux... I got one together with an M4 a while ago and it ended up being a steal.
Nothing I've bought has looked like the summilux does wide open. It's amazing.
the sharpness of whats in focus together with the swirly bokeh. Wow as.
Nice VA. I reckon you should do one head and shoulders and one full body for each person... Then put them side by side and present them as two portrait images together.
That would be cool and it would tell us more about the subject. I've always wanted to do this but always forget when I'm out shooting.

some more. kinda sucks that my last show yielded not-so-great results. I'm talking to a band called "Hit The Lights" to try getting some promos done and be the main photog at their show. they are pretty big haha but i work with the drummer
also, the guy next to me at the show was changing film when i looked over. so much respect for that dude haha.

also does anyone think this idea will work....im tempted to see what money i can get people to donate to me....then with this money try get to a war/conflict zone and do some kinda war photography/photojournalism...i understand tis not that easy to just get up and go...but anyone think it COULD work?

channa I like that first pic alot, I like they way you've been doin strobes and still shooting at a wide aperture..

wow, really fucking hate this new image uploader/ bombingscience incredibly anti intuitive. I just love watching a nice crisp 800x600 PNG get turned into a fuzy 38kb fucking turd. Not that my opinion is overly important or any more vaild than any of yours, just had to vent that after trying to post a pretty picture for you folks.
