Ares, aside from my 50 1.4, the 24-70 is my most used lens. You're gonna love it.

I already do. Shitty weather but I got a couple shots out last night and I was pretty pleased. The only problem now is that with my new grip and lens the camera is too heavy for my tripod.

I dig that last one lakim, think it would look better square crop without all that black on the bottom.

anyway, i always ignored this but im really itching about it now:
Enhanced iFCL 63-zone, Dual-layer metering system; and 9-point AF system utilizing a high-precision, f/2.8 cross-type center point.

what does the f stop have to do with the AF point?

I'm not 100% on this, but I think the 2.8 cross type points are higher sensitivity and need more light to work properly?
That's what I gather from reading about it, but could be wrong.

Maybe it's the depth of field that the focus point has on it's subject. No idea really. blah blah digital 'features' and gizmo talk don't interest me anymore.

Nay all those photos are from my new 35 1.4 nokton classic...
Flicking the 35 1.2. The 1.4 does just fine in half the size.
