that's definetly not as good as monkey's stuff, the man has it down to a science, that 10-20 isn't an easy lens to work with

Fuckin ill.
I got into my primary choice college for photography.
last year i didnt make the cut.
so stoked!!
Megapickles.
im just wondering guys...if i shoot a roll of 100 velvia...do you think its possible to shoot it at 200/400 iso then can it be fixed in developing :/ or is it only possible to push and pull with black and white film??
I wouldn't suggest trying it, slide film can be pushed and pulled, but velvia is especially fussy about needing to be perfectly exposed.
yer i know what you mean about velvia...it can be mega mega anal....might try pick up a few rolls of fuji 200 and give it a go...want to shoot 400 but no where local sells 400 film
Just seen the link posted, that urban twilight, i think ive met the bloke that owns that site at a drain party/meet a while back...cant remember though...just rings a bell...
if youve come to australia then likely you could have
ive seen him and talked to him b4 when seeing him leaving after taking pics when we rocked up to do a piece
all these earth quakes making me mad nervous...
japan now. fuck. the largest earthquake ever recorded... the images on the news of the tsunami ripping up cars is some scary shit.
at least my city lies away from the fault line... (just above where the number 2 is) but still. fuck. I'm scared.
that wave's headed down to nz/aus from what I hear.....
Got a 24x36 print done today. Could have done 36x54 without a big issue. But it was expensive. Fuckin printers at copymax are calibrated to be a lot darker than what on their screens. A lofl pisses but whatever. Pretty awesme to be able to print that big, not that i ever will
Think about it, your viewing your images on a back lit screen vs a piece of paper. What looks best for your screen isn't necessarily whats going to look best in print.
Yup. Hope you converted to CMYK (depending on your printing method) etc.
Well to me, its logic to think their printers and computers would match pretty well
Haha. I did a three year bachelor basically to learn that print is a fucking complex mess of formats colours and all sorts of shit.
Design something in RGB and print it on a CMYK printer you are gonna get a rude awakening at how fucked up the colours are.
Printmaking is a craft in itself.
yes! i never really ever got my head around it at uni. too much to know and remember.
well luckily it was a b+w print so it only came out underexposed a bit. it was nothing important. i think im just gonna get things printed from places that specialize in photo printing
thanks for the cmyk tip
how cmyk printing works ... sorta
