I spotted this on a train earlier today, this is an SP over a 1980 moniker by "Herby". The SP was done by Jasp on a gondola train that I spotted in west Erie. Those who have read the book "Freight Train Graffiti" know how much of a remarkable person Herby is to the freight moniker game, until he died in 1995. Extremely disrespectful diss/sidebust...
Here are a couple of excerpts from Herbys section in "Freight Train Graffiti":
Herby is a big deal in the North American railway, even a hero to some graff artists who take the trains VERY seriously. You think you can just walk around and diss monikers that were done way before you were even born? Fuck that. Thats similar to going to Egypt and dissing the hieroglyphics or something. Learn the culture.
