Well, i haven't seen anybody post it...but, with your kiwi......it goes 2 ways. Leave the valve in, and you get no mess, but ruin the nib faster and not as good drips...leave it out. SICK drips, but a mess and a flooded cap...

Well, i seeked for the best answer for this problem. And i may have found it. Im 90% positive on its success (i only tested with the polish inside of it...hey! Its 4:43 am over here!!! You try NOT being lazy at a time like this!) and i think i may have it...

Take out the valve. Now get some scissors. You know those 3 green spiraled legs on the valve? Well cut out the middle segment of 2 of the legs. JUST THE MIDDLE SEGMENT, AND JUST 2 OF THEM....I CANT STRESS THAT ENOUGH! Now, CAREFULLY put the valve back in JUST like it was...making sure its completely lined up with the little hole inside the nib, and pop it back in perfectly...make sure its not like tilted, or not all the way in....it must be perfectly put back in just like it was....it make take a little longer to put it back in straight because of the mod....but its worth it...

Now after this mod, i was able to hold it over keyboard and squeeze it without fear...because NOTHING dripped out of it...even when held upside down...BUT...when i BARELY push the nib down, it completely flooded and dripped...

....somebody please clarify this with ghetto krink and a new kiwi....

And post results.....!

tryed making a mop last week...i have everything..i was jsut wondering how much paint thinner to mix with the paint to make it the perfect mix...
i tryed puting a bit more then half in a lil container then putting the rest of paint..so about half half...obviously too much paint.....

no. yeu need 1/3 thinner 2/3 paint.

i dont think it needs to be too specific. just keep adding thinner until you like it.

Why do u have to take out the "penis thingy". my friend left it and it works fine ??

it makes it run better. its a little thing that only alows the paint to come out wen yeu press it up against sumthin. if yeu take it out then it will flow all teh time.

You failed to mention, both sides....

With the valve out= Better flow, No extra force on nib, but messy at times

With the valve in= No mess, but extra force on nib because you have to push it to write...and not as good of a flow....

MY Solution....is to cut out 2 of the 3 green "legs" on the valve...better flow, AND no mess....

thats weird.. still aint working great..feels like the thinner is staying on top of the paint and wheni come to write wiht it..only the thinner comes out.. and i mixxed it and everything.. what kind of paint u guys using?????

Use Oil Based paint, thinned with Mineral Spirits...maybe your using latex? Or a bad thinner?

i jsut got thinner..its the bes ti could find..i might be using latex..ill check that out..thanx for the help!

latex blows ass... it chips alot of the time..use oil paint... justaheads up

the thing is..im not sure what paint i put in..so im not sure if it was latex or not..but wtv..ill jsut empty it out and put in oil based.. do u think i should put in 1/3 thinner and 2/3 paint?? just dont want to fuck up another one..
