I have been throwing dead Copics away for years and just realized that they are easily refillable. I would definitely recommend a thin ink like straight Garvey. I think ghetto Krink / any other bucket paint shit would clog the nib. This is a no-brainer tutorial, but I figured somebody using Copics could save some $$$ by refilling them since they are so fucking expensive.

I do a normal 2-sided Copic and one of the 110mm broad tips here. I am using Garvey out of the bottle, so I strongly recommend latex gloves.


Grab the nib of the marker and simply pull it out.







Fill the body with ink. It doesn't take much, but unlike a Pilot, it won't drip if you over saturate it, which is cool unless you are looking to get drips, but if you want drips a Copic probably isn't what you are fucking with anyway.




Here is the refilled 110, a fun marker made better with purple Garvey goodness.

Thanks man. Now I want to know what a Uni Wide is. I have tons of Uni pens, but I haven't seen anything close to this wide. Getting on teh Google....

How Do You Make Flare Tips

There is no such thing as a flare tip. They are just fat caps and you just gotta move the can away from the wall as you write to get flares.

you can't really flare with stocks.

If you want you can cut a small notch in the little male stick part and make the hole in the dot a bit wider and you will get more paint coming out.
