this is a otr marker i had that had no cap and no nib
i used a sharpie magnum nib and shaved it down with a razor to fit
i also used waterproof tape i had when i broke my leg to make a nice seal on the cap
this is what it came out like. the magnum nib seems really durable
im sure there are hundreds of mop step by steps already but i found this one worked especially well..
1. gather materials. glue, tape (optional), scissors/exacto knife, nib material and candy spray (pictured below) i got this at a convenience store near my house for $1.50
2. open candy spray. drink/pour contents
3. take main nozzle part of spray bottle and disassemble it so you are left with these 4 peices:
you are going to want to keep the white part that connects the cap to the barrel.
4. take clear plastic ring thing off the white bit, you can throw everything else away at this point (except for cap, barrel, and barrel-cap connector)
5. put clear plastic thing upside down on top of the plastic barrel. this acts as a flow regulator so that if you put ink in and its upside down it doesnt drip all over the place. also helps to hold the nib in place. if you are using paint this part can be discarded.
6. screw the connector onto the barrel. this will hold the regulator in place.
7. cut out a nib and glue it in place.i used a piece of old cloth
8. fill with an ink of your choice (pilot or ded are good bets), cap and your done. you can also add little details too if you want. i taped mine up with electric tape and sliced out a little window with an exacto to see the ink level.
the only downside to this pen is that since the bottom is rounded you cant sit it straight up. but the regulator stops it leaking if its upside down.

First, Get youself one of these. Hobby Lobby is where I got mine. Im not sure if Michael's has them. Fellow posters, If they have them, let everyone else know. (and yes, I've searched the ENTIRE website and couldnt find a DIY of this.)

Take the tip assembly off. (To take it off, turn to the right, and if you cant figure out which way to screw it back on, God help you.)
The pump just pulls out. Easy enough, yeah?
Dump the blue glue out and rinse the body and pump out with hot water.
Pour your ink inside. (The funnel is made from a USPS sticker. Eh, it works for me.)

Re-insert the pump, screw your tip assembly back on, and juice the nib.
It should not leak when you shake it, unless you have juiced the nib alot.
Forgive the toy ass handstyle, YES I AM A TOY. Get over it.
OPTIONAL: You can take off the label or leave it on, whichever you prefer.
Additional information: The ink is a pen ink/alcohol mixture, most of you know what that is. The table is just where I test out nibs and such. And I wouldnt recommend using this marker on rough surfaces, as it tears after a few tags. Thank you and enjoy!

with the shoe shine mop, can you just use the shoe shine its self if you add steel powder to it?
i wanted to try that.
and what did you use to get all the shine competely out of the bottle?
I dunno about shoe shine, but I'm pretty sure anything that has to do with shoes probably won't work on a wall.

well it works however you define work in this case. i mean you can tag with it, but its super easy to clean, so tag dry spots that dont get cleaned and theyll last ( at least for a lil bit ). or just empty the whole thing in a bus or train for the dirty floor look for 1 day.

my favorite shit to rock is a kiwi shoe mop with some homeade paint ,easy to rack and make,just be carefull u dont make a fucking mess ive fucked up alot of shirts and shit making inks and filling up mops and shit
