quick question, i just mixed black sumi ink and speedball black ink and i ended up getting this thick black sludge, wtf why is this?

isnt speed ball water based?
i just made some ink its very basic carbon paper,pen inks and 100ml of raven oil all into 500ml of methelated spirits it seems good because the bottle was clear and know its not.
i may add some metheleyne blue when i get some.

also i was wondering could i add a tiny bit of listerene to make ink smell good in retrospect this qeustion is rather toy but i was wondering is anyone else had tried or heard of it because it isnt water based so i thought itd mix well into a alchohol based ink.

Haha, you could make a base for your pen inks from scope, its alcohol based as well.

anyone interested in making inks and have questions about bases:

search for the product's MSDS on google. The MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) has a section which lists the ingredients of the product.
The ingredient with the highest percentage is the base. It's first on the list.

don't know what something is? google it. search on wikipedia. you can learn a lot if you just put forth the effort

hey everyone, hows it going, pritty bad for me at the moment, im actually in hospital at the moment after a severe carcrash, my right legs broken in three places, i have a fractured skull, upper arm and broken wrist (right) and collar bone... and pnumonia (however you spell it) from laying unconcious in -4 weather heh.. my freind (the driver) has got away with only whiplash.... lucky bugger

im typing this on my psp, and should be able to get my laptop in the place soon

..
