so does anyoen know why oil based sht makes plastic bottles like suck in? its not cuz it dissolves teh bottle, becasue that makes no sense, it would leak no suck in.

does the volume of the ink/ paint actually get smaller?

and doesn anyone know why thsi ink i have wont dry? the solvent is acetone...but i have like synthetic plastic/rubber shit in it

i aint no scientist but think like when you shake a soda can. when you shake ur paint it doesnt sizzle but you do create small pockets of air within the pain. makin it look like it has more. next time you get a mop thats sucked in. shake the living fuckin shit outa it. ull notice that more magically shows up.

i made a batch last night that turned out okay but i used a little to much rubbing alcohol.

but i just finsihed making a batch up with 60 pen tubes, 3/4 of a cup of 70% rubbing alohol, 6 magic markers inereds, and a packet of rite dye.

im hoping it turns out good. i will find out tommorow.

i think its proly soluble in acetone and some alcohols, but not oils i think?

yeah yeah no epoxy added its and epoxy AND laqeur thinner, i just wonder if it would or wouldnt thin the oil and cause it to seperate. I also got this denish oil finish what would that be like to mix

but if its just an oil thinenr then ya it'll work, and if the oil finish is anythign liek woodstain then yea you might as well just use taht to thin it

at hett....i expirenced the same shit with my gk mop and my paint actually dried a lil bit inside....the oils in the paint suck the air thats left inside the mop wen u close it....as the paint absorbs the air it dries the paint in turn sucking ur mop in....this usually happens wen u leave ur mops unused for a couple of days...

chemically what is involved in your mentioned synthetic rubber shit? cause if i had to guess i would say it doesnt getalong with acetone and thus is not drying correctly. cause obviously acetone dries quick cause it evaporates. but with out know what else is involved its hard to say
