ya thinner is ONLY for thinning OIL based paints. not ink. alcohol is ONLY for ink and anything else alcohol based. Water is only for thinnign acrylic paints, but will also mix with alcohol, but it makes the quality of the ink a lot less.
hett is on point with his ink knowledge possibly a new rouge ?..or biz
we shall see..toon in next week when hettinger sets a toy straight !!! 9/10c !!
LMFAO ! haha im fuckin high...
you CAN use nail varnish remover but i wouldn't recommend it
allot of butamin based inks are coming onto the market, witch the buff probably arnt prepared for, there for there gona have a job to buff butamin based tags?
I was thinking, if i was to extract whatever is in a coverall can (im guessing it's just butamin)
would this make a good additive, and how much should i add?
isnt pvc primer a pretty good additive?
ya when i did it i was using a 100 percent acetone work fine. but now i always use alch.
^^its not bad.
you mean Methylene Blue? as in a stainer's additive. (which is water based in most forms not alch)
i wouldnt replace the alcohol with pure pvc primer the stuff does stain but straight it doesnt dry fully on all surfaces so it would be better in a solution of about 70% pvc to 30% high concentrate alcohol like 99.7% as the alcohol would speed up the drying
true you could do that but acetone eats through plastic slowly so thinking about it wouldnt the pvc primer too any way easiest it just to stick with ethanol or rubbing alcohol
