empty paper towel roll, elastic band or tape dryer sheets over one end. breathe in the other.

I call it a filter.
What I did, is get some kind of plastic container in the shape of a cylinder.
Something empty and somewhat flimsy like this:

Then you poke 3 or 4 holes in the bottom depending on how big it is.
Then put dryer sheets, some coffee beans in the middle, and then more dryer sheets.
Just enough to cover the scent.
