what up guys tryin to figure out this bittorrent thing if anyone could help me out id appreciate it. when i click a torrent link my computer can not recognize the file. what do i gotta do to fx this?

 

You have to have a bit torrent client. I think that's the word. Anyway you NEED one of these. I use Bit Tornado. Download and install that and your computer will be able to recognize the file.


On to my question. I just downloaded a movie from Torrent spy and it has no sound. It says something about downloading wrong codec. Anyone know where I would be able to find the codec? Or atleast give me some help? Adamo?

Welcome to yesterday people.

Uni:

1. Try a few playing the file on a few different things like winamp,windows media player or divx player. Sometimes stuff will work on one but not others.

2. Umm maybe figure out what codec you need somehow...then run the name in google..download it...run it...try again.

3. Perhaps you just downloaded a a corrupt file and the sound is fucked

If none of these help, get back at me and i'll see what else i can do.

We have a winner...Azureus is best client by far.

hehe i prefer winmx... much simpler. no stupid flash adverts and crap like u get on kazaa. think of it as the "notepad" of the downloading world. simple, yet incredibly powerful. (i doubt half of u dont even KNOW wat evil shit u can do wit notepad)

Notice the green writing? Yeah that wud be the multi-point downloads, and they work better on 'MX than on anythin else I've used.
