Official Sketch Battle v1.6

Welcome to te 6th official Bombing Science sketch battle! This battle is a special one, because it's the first one we have an invited judge to choose the winners: Scien of the infamous 123Klan. It's also the first battle that we give prizes to the top 3 sketchs!

Here's the breakdown of the prizes:

1st Place:
- $100 of Evidence Clothing
- $50 Bombing Science gift certificate
- 5 Montana Hardcore cans

2nd Place:
- $60 of Evidence Clothing
- $25 Bombing Science gift certificate

3rd Place:
- $40 of Evidence Clothing


And now, the rules of the battle:

- Deadline: March 23rd 2008
- Word to sketch: PROX
- Colors: Any colors
- Medium: Pencils, Pen, Markers
- Backgrounds and characters are accepted, but not necessary.

Sketches will be judged mostly on the letter structure.

The judge of this battle will announce the winners a few days after the deadline. All the sketches that will be submitted to us will also be posted online.

Scien's Comment: I think Mistix, compared to many other sketches in this contest, really has a personal and original style. The letters are simply and well done. Great!


2nd Place: Reviser

Scien's Comment: The letters of this sketch are really well crafted. Even if a lot of sketches were really colorful, I love this 2-color sketches, where only the style matters.


3rd Place: Mewt

Scien's comment: Even if there's a "MSK" influence in this sketch, the style is really wild and the result is tight.

congrats to the winners...i thought i would at least place or show...but i got honoroable mention..thats good enough for me .... good fun though, look forward to entering some other battles...thats what hip hop and graf are about...not boxcutters and guns...word ..i think there should be a no digital stipulation too..just straight flairs/designs/prismacolors etc on paper ..
