You can keep it wide if you make the two top 'balls' come out over the side of the tapered bottom piece. It'll give it more of that 'V' look.

roes- I'm liking that top one with the lowercase R. I think you should use something more than a dot in your letters though. Add some steez by putting an astrick or X or tag or something so it doesn't look so boring. And I'm not sure if it's intentional but I'm not feeling those loops in the letters.
