Well, so far i have only painted like twice. My paint control is decent i guess. But i also see where you say you will regret it because as you get better you will be like wow that shit sucked. So, i guess i will bring home cardboard and practice painting on it for can control, but also draw a hell of a lot and get good letter structure. Thanks guys. Out of all this bullshit two or three people actually helped. BTW, im kinda having trouble with getting paint because i am under 18. Im down with racking it, but not ALL the time ya know. Any tips?
I agree with Rewt. This one kid I met a few months ago, I'd never painted with him, but he showed me some of his sketches, and they were legit. Not even toy lookin'. Now I mean don't get me wrong, I can hardly draw a piece. BUT....I paint a LOT more than I draw. When me and that kid went out for the first time together, who do you think painted better? The dude couldn't even paint a straight letter. But that's alright...you have to work both of them evenly to get the best results. Yo gotta' get the best of both worlds man. My 0.02 $. Stay up
EDIT: CG22, If you have a Meijer near you, or a store like that, go to the self-checkout, it doesn't ring you up for a ID. At least at mine. Im Over 18 though, so it doesn't matter for me. Good luck
I went to a walmart and used the self check out and the shit asked for authorization from a manager. By the time he should up i had dipped lol. I was like even the fucking machines are like ID'ing you haha.

to start make your letters all similar width and height ... dont worry about coloring that doesnt make your letters better just takes away from time u could be practicing letter structure. so scratch what u have and start super simple like keyboard letters or basic bubble letters to get a feel for what your doing.
and a cope doodle on a piece of a map when he was at the local graff shop a few weeks back
