for just starting out thats quite good, i like how you were able to connect everything. The N is a bit off though

yarbles - second one is better. Still that k's right leg looks sketchy. It's too skinny. Try to do it all in sharpie, because those inside outlines don't look so clean.
bak - i like the color and the fill but that u is mega odd and the letters at the end are fatter than the ones in the beginning. Some of that 3d doesn't make sense either go up and down at the same time.
I don't really stick to one style. Repeating one style would make it... boring. It's probably not a good idea though...

Another thing I'm not liking is how u do the upper inside part of the R, Id change the horizontal line to a vertical one. Maybe try curve it a bit so it follows the flow of the outer line of the R as well, I'd also lower the line that makes the two legs of the r a bit. ... :P Toy critz
