I decided to try and use Photoshop to render one of my newest drawings...i want a cartoony like look with sharp textures...check it out..
Obviously far from finished
This is my first time ever colouring something with Photoshop and i quite like it up to now ... i havent got a clue as to what im doing in regards to " layers " etc. but i know abit on the Brushes and such.
It’s true that much of his work uses similar warped perspectives, thick slabs of color, and intensely configured faces alternately agonized and enraptured. Robinson says of his style, “It’s not about being precise.” Instead, it’s about color and paint as texture. He knows what’s sexy about it and what’s juicy about it. Paint is like all those things: it’s like salve and it’s like lotion and it’s like mud and it’s like shit. It’s everything that’s tactile and you touch… the paint is gonna solve everything.

Computer rendered art can be cool, but I still like art done by hand because it's less precise, more prone to human error, and therefore uncovers the eccentricities of a person's imagination.
Computers also have so many logarithms and equation built in to them that allow people to enhance their art artificially.
not mine but this guy is amazing:
